"I purchased your Loveless style bread/cutting board knife from the Ray Richards auction a couple of months back. I just wanted to say thanks for donating this beautiful piece to the auctionÑthat was a nice thing for you to do. My family and I have really enjoyed this knife. Among other things, it has quickly become my family's "birthday cake" cutting knife of choice because of its form, feel and function. (we've had a lot of birthdays recently) I really enjoy finding excuses to use this knife. I love the weight and the feel. Its edge is wonderful. I just wanted you to know we are really enjoying your work and I wanted to say Thanks. If you have a table at the Blade Show in Atlanta in June, I will stop by. Your work is first class." Greg....
"The knife is fabulous! My wife and I both love it and have given it a unique slot in our knife drawer in the kitchen. The design is great and the craftsmanship is great. Thanks. We use this paring knife everyday for almost every small slicing job in the kitchen. My wife even said yesterday that, "Of all the knives in this drawer, this is the one I always pull out first. I LOVE this knife." Greg....
"I bought the pictured knife from Will earlier this year. I have used it alot around the farm here and I usually carry it when we are out trail riding and camping with our mules. It is easy to carry since the sheath is close fitting and high riding. The knife stays put in the sheath and is still easy to get out when needed. I've cut hay twine to tree branches and alot of stuff in between. It's not been abused but it has been used alot and is still sharp and in like new condition. When I got the knife I was showing it around and most people said it ought to be put up and kept looking nice. Well, I bought it to use, not to just look at. The knife has met all my expectation so far, and there is no doubt it will continue to meet my needs. If yall are needing a fine well made knife, Will is the man to see. I'm a satisfied customer." "Will -- I've searched for a long time to find a knife that I can carry every day, rely on it to perform a variety of tasks in the mountains, and look great at the same time. Your Bird and Trout has become my favorite knife. I first discovered how much I like this knife when I used it to cut 10 ounce leather for several custom knife sheaths I was making. I didn't buy it to be a shop knife, but it quickly put all my other shop blades to shame. The convexed forged 52100 is a great cutting blade for both push cuts and pull cuts, and the tip is fine enough to let me round corners easily. After cutting 4 sheaths I finally stropped iton some 1500 grit paper, and brought it right back to its original edge. The handle is about 1/2" shorter than I'm used to, but still feels great and lets me cut a long time with no 'hot spots' on my hand. This is a great looking knife too, with the stag, ironwood and nickel silver handle. Classic looking hunting knife, perfectly finished. Thanks for a great knife, I'm sure it will give me many years of pleasure." Mike Bartol - Woodland Park, Colorado....
"Thank you so much for your excellent craftsmanship and commitment to detail. The hunting set that you made me will accompany me into bow-hunting season and will be sure to be the envy of my hunting party." Nic....
